About Us / Donations
Donations
While the University of Pittsburgh Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC) receives funding through the National Institute on Aging, these funds do not cover all the research activities and educational programming that occur here. Private donations are greatly appreciated and acknowledged publicly.
You can contribute money directly to the ADRC to support research studies or educational programming. You can also donate to the ADRC in memory of a loved one. These donations are highlighted in our newsletter, "Pathways," unless you wish the donations to be anonymous. Donations are used to advance the studies of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, or provide programming and educational materials for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's disease. Your contributions are vital to our understanding of the mechanisms behind this debilitating disease. Please make your check payable to the University of Pittsburgh and indicate "Alzheimer Disease Research Center" or "ADRC" on the Memo Line of your check. Your check can be sent directly to the ADRC at the following address: Alzheimer Disease Research Center Attention: Leslie Dunn, MPH, ADRC Administrator University of Pittsburgh UPMC Montefiore, Four West 200 Lothrop Street Pittsburgh, PA 15213-2582
The ADRC is a non-profit organization and your contributions are tax-deductible as provided by the law. The official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Pennsylvania department of State by calling 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.
